General Information

The Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists (ATSS) is a non-profit multi-disciplinary international organization founded in 1987 to provide professional education and international board certification and recognition to those actively involved in services, response and treatment to individuals affected by traumatic stress. Our conferences offer a dynamic learning experience by experts actively engaged in their fields. Our focus is on realistic, practical information you can apply on the job. Participants will learn how to effectively communicate with, respond to, manage, and treat individual victims, groups of victims, survivors and witnesses experiencing traumatic stress and longer-term traumatic reactions events such as natural disasters, industrial accidents, war, conflicts, acts of violence and victimization.
